lobster!

I don't think I'm exaggerating when I say you can't go a few minutes without seeing some variation of lobster art / lobster souvenirs / lobster comics / actual lobsters. It's safe to say we ate more of it on this trip than both have us have ever eaten in our entire lives, combined.
We've mostly only had lobster in pasta or sushi rolls, so getting an entire one at the Alma Lobster Shop was quite the experience for us. It is more of a shop than a restaurant but they give you some butter, tools, and a really fresh crustacean for you to take outside and mutilate.
Before choosing our homarus americanus, we poked around inside and the girl working there showed us a ridiculously huge one they had caught recently. I'm still surprised that we weren't put off by that alien creature and were able to eat after seeing it. She said they planned on throwing it back in the water after letting a few more tourists gawk at it. There was also a blue lobster in the tank, which is apparently pretty rare.
Don't judge our technique; we had no idea what we were doing. I just wrote more about lobster than I care about lobster and used the word lobster way too many times. Lobster.
