alma beach

The beach in the small seaside village of Alma, New Brunswick was at low tide when we hung out there one afternoon. What I was most curious about were the rows and rows of rocks covered with green moss that looked like the Grinch. If you find pictures of rocks incredibly dull, well, apologies in advance. I've never seen such crazy looking ones and I guess I'm just easily impressed by shiny things. - Mina

Mina and Alex, Alma looks utterly charming--as do you! Thank you so much for your Morocco travelogues. I mined them for information and visited a few of the places you visited on my recent trip there. I would highly recommend putting Chefchaoen, Morocco's Blue City, on your list should you ever return. Seriously gorgeous: http://clubnarwhal.blogspot.com/2013/07/Chefchaouen-Blue-City-Morocco.html
ReplyDeleteAmy Lee Scott - Thanks so much! I'm glad that our posts helped you.
ReplyDeleteMy friend told me I had to go to Chefchaouen before we left Montreal, but unfortunately we had to choose between it and the Sahara. I do hope we make it there someday.
these pictures are beautiful. you guys are such a charming couple. thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI love how there is this distinct GREEN ROCKS ARE HERE area and then NORMAL, BORING ROCKS ARE HERE place. That moss is incredible! I actually think is interesting and beautiful. It looks like it was a bit windy, though! I also saw your horse pictures from that last post. That last one made me laugh. "Sorry, horsie, no food for you..."
ReplyDeleteWow, the moss looks soft to touch, like the fur of some green animal.
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful! You're a stunning couple with great talent. Love your blog!

Beautiful place. A little pebbly beach. Not suitable for swimming?
ReplyDeleteGezi - Definitely not when we were there! Perhaps when the tide comes in... but I'm not so sure, to be honest. There are better beaches in NB for that.
ReplyDeleteI understand you. Thank you for the reply. A very nice place.
