boston - day one

I was so excited about the view from our hotel room in Boston. We usually don't stay in the downtown area/ tourist spots of the places we visit because accommodations can be so expensive but really wanted convenience for this trip. We used one of those websites where they sell you discounted rooms without telling you the name of the hotel and got lucky. (There's a forum that exists where you can get a good idea of which place you'll end up before you actually book, which eases my nerves. Thanks internet!) We spent the evening in the Public Garden where some swans made themselves into a heart, for our anniversary, I'm sure.
