arcade fire + kid koala

It's been over a month since Arcade Fire played a free show at Place Des Festivals. I found out, a few days prior to the show, that a DJ I loved while I was in high school would be opening. I was excited to see both Kid Koala and Arcade Fire in one evening (...and some French band that I don't remember the name of). These are some snapshots of the crowd and the show that drew over 100,000 people.

I saw Arcade Fire play in Halifax years ago and it was so magical. It looks like they still know how to put on a great show!
ReplyDeletep.s. Wish I could have met up with you guys while I was in Montreal a few weeks ago, but we ended up staying for only 36 hours! I know, I know, such an injustice to that amazing city...but maybe we can meet up if you are ever in Winnipeg again! I'll be here until early 2012.
