washington square park

During our time in NYC we found ourselves walking through Washington Square Park on more than one occasion. And while it was not a destination for us, we quite enjoyed taking in the music, and atmosphere of the famous park.



Washington Square Park also acts as the unofficial quadrangle for New York University. Since we visited during the summer we didn't see much student activity, but we did encounter a lot of tourists, artists, and rule-flouting hipsters.
