new york city!!

Despite the fact that 8.4 million New Yorkers suddenly realized that New York City is a horrible place to live, we would move there in a heartbeat if we wouldn't have to live like these folk.

We were pinching ourselves every single day during the month and a bit we spent there. Aside from a short layover, neither of us had ever visited the city. To get you hyped for our upcoming posts about the concrete jungle, here is Kermit singing Empire State of Mind:

  10. YAY! Stoked for NYC posts. When Andre and I lived in Ottawa we were constantly driving to New York for weeks at a time just to hang out and and eat in the west village and the meat packing district. It quickly became a second home. I've really missed it since living here.

  14. Oh my gosh, I can't believe how small that apartment is! It's like a dorm room...which is OK for a temporary living space, but I'm not sure I could do that for any longer than 1 year. Eek!
