We're not too sure why there was such a Japanese influence in Guayaquil, but we were glad there was. Stores, shoes, and sushi - Mina was especially happy about the sushi. She thought she would have to wait a lot longer until she was able to have some quality sashimi again.

Great sushi pictures. The colours really stand out.
ReplyDeleteYummy sushi!!! On the western coast of South America there's a great influence on Asian cooking! It won't be the first time you'll find that. I think it's called "chifa" the mix between Latin american cooking and the Asian one, if I well remember from my university course!
