  1. Yep, there is a Travel Scrabble. The tiles snap onto the board so you can close it up mid-game and restart later. It's a good thing!

There is! My husband won my heart early on in our relationship when he broke out the travel Scrabble! It has its own little zippered case and everything.

  3. Thanks guys! Unfortunately, I think we're going to have to stick to the online version to utilize more space in our bags. I know it's not the same, but it will have to do!

  5. Mina have you ever played banana grams? It's kind of like scrabble, but you just use the letters not the board.

We play that all the time with friends. It's way fun and you don't need to carry around all the extras.

  6. One piece of advice: do not forget to pack the travel scrabble! when we left for korea, we forgot to pack it, and i only realized it at the airport in the morning. we talked about it for the whole year, it was pathetic!

  9. My husband will be glad to know there is such a thing as travel scrabble if we ever go travelling. He just got scrabble for his 30th birthday and wants to play every night! Check out triominos (three sided dominos) they pack down to a little zippered pouch, and are super fun.

  10. We don't have space in our bags for games but I highly recommend taking along a deck of cards. There are several great sites online that give rules for all sorts of great 2 player games.

  21. Hey there... Hubbie and I have travel scrabble over in London with us...and it's a winner! It's literally no thicker than a moleskin and is all magnetised...so it makes for easy travelling! Good luck with the wedding!!

  22. I second the deck of cards in the bag tip. Always nice for long waits in bus stations, train stations, and airports. There are fun games to be stumbled upon in hostels as well, and it's always nice to play with new friends. Good luck in the days leading up to your wedding!

  25. I’ve always enjoyed the game Scrabble. The game requires a mixture of vocabulary, strategy, pattern-recognition and luck.
