au revoir, paris.

We couldn't leave Paris without going to Ladurée. I think the one on Rue Royale is really pretty ...and we were finally able to pop into the Maille store that we regretted not checking out during our first time in France (we picked up this fig & coriander grainy dijon that we've been adding to everything). Our last evening was spent enjoying a quiet evening at our friends' home in Chaville.

  2. My husband is obsessed with Maille mustard and has been begging me to go to the Maille store. We didn't have time to go while he was in Paris for the holidays but I might just surprise him with a jar of fig & coriander "moutarde à l'ancienne" when I fly to Montreal next week. Sounds delicious! I just hope it fits into one of my already stuffed suitcases. Yes, there are three.

    Bisous!

  3. Liesl - Thank you!

French Lover - We got the mini jars because we weren't certain we'd like the flavours (and they were expensive!)... so you could always do that!

  13. Ah Paris! I cannot believe in the 7 times that I have been there I still haven't taken myself to Laduree!

The hot chocolate looks like the proper thick chocolate that you get in Italy not the milk with a bit of powder they like to pretend is hot chocolate here!

    Delicieux!
