v & a waterfront part II

More than one of our afternoons in Cape Town was spent at the V& A Waterfront. We tried some great food (i.e. Kauai for a quick, healthy, affordable lunch) and there was always live music being played . We caught a percussion group performing after we returned from our tour of Robben Island:

Cape Town is lucky to have such a vibrant area for people to spend their time (and money) in. If you're ever in the city try not to miss it.

  1. I love your blog (and your life and your photos!) - and I'm envious of that man's saxaphone.

  3. Kauai was my FAVORITE place to go for smoothies when I was in Capetown! I've tried to recreate them since I've been back in the states, but of course it's just not the same...

  9. I So ran out of time and didn't get to explore Cape Town or Robben Island. Yet I sure enjoyed the street music in Simon's Town. I'll just have to go back.

I highly recommend the Havasu hike amongst many others in the SW.
