this is cairo • 16 comments • Some random photos from around the Egyptian city... While we were in Cairo, Chili's was the #1 rated restaurant on tripadvisor. We've never seen as many cats as we had in Cairo. This taxi belonged to a grizzled old Egyptian cab driver. We thought it was kind of hilarious. We felt so sorry for all the poor camels that were being treated so badly. The City Stars Mall was stunning and open until midnight! Perfumes galore. Beautiful architecture. After a busy day, we could count on this girl to be playing some Frank Sinatra tunes in the lobby of our hotel - a brief reprieve from the "theme song" of honking horns in Cairo.
