Waimanalo Beach
• 5 comments •As we approached Waimanalo Beach, we saw a sign that said it was closed due to man o' war. Slightly crestfallen (because, as you can see, this was a stunning place to be), we started to turn away. Then, we saw a handful of people hanging around and even a few in the water. The lifeguard said the warning wasn't actually a big deal, and so we apprehensively trusted his laid back Hawaiian attitude and decided to have a little swim. It ended up being a pretty perfect beach day and we left sting free!*

Lovin your Hawaii posts! Your travel photography gives me such a bad case of wanderlust. I think I've said that before lol
