The sights and scenes on the way back to Casablanca were so interesting. A man selling chickens on the side of the road, sheep herders, kids hitchhiking home from school - it's neat to see how people spend their days... so completely different from our lives in Canada.
I love this! I sort of wished we'd rented a car in Morocco to see more of the countryside. On my first visit there, I traveled by train and bus, but this past time, we only took the train straight from Casa to Marrakech, and it wasn't the most scenic of journeys.
Camels & Chocolate - A lot of people told us not to bother with Casablanca, so we took a train to Marrakesh right away too. It was at night so we didn't see anything. We were going to take the train back as well, but then the guy we met for our Sahara trip offered us a ride because he was going there anyway. Then he took us to all the places worth seeing in Casablanca; it worked out well.
