argan oil

On our way to Zagora, our driver (and new friend) took us to a women's argan co-operative in the village of Tadarte. We shared a breakfast of Moroccan bread dipped in argan butter and argan oil. Of course, there was plenty of mint tea.
Argan oil, or Moroccan oil as it's more commonly referred to in North America, is used in a variety of skin and hair care products and seems pretty trendy. Apparently, women in Morocco have been using it for shiny hair and glowing skin. I haven't used it consistently enough to give you my opinion on it's beauty claims, but I can attest to it's deliciousness. - Mina

ReplyDeleteReally very nice pictures and everything is true what you said about Argan oil. It changed my skin and hair dramatically. I moved to Essaouira 1 year ago and started an import export business selling artisan products, all hand made and also Argan oil (Moroccan Oil). I work directly with the woman cooperatives and look for clients for their wonderful oil. I am looking to built up a distribution network and anybody interested in collaboration is welcome to contact me at dreamsofmorocco@yahoo.de My website is not yet translated into English, but if you would like to receive some English articles I wrote about the Moroccan Argan oil, just contact me.
ReplyDeleteThese photos are fantastic (guess I have said that before) I LOVE the portrait of that woman. She is so beautiful.
