HK Architecture

With a population of over 7 million people, Hong Kong's soaring high rise buildings are packed and a sight to see. All the shiny new structures are juxtaposed with the dilapidated, weathered homes and businesses found around the city. We saw a lot of construction and were interested to learn that bamboo is used as scaffolding in HK. I visited Hong Kong without any preconceptions and the architecture was one of the many things that surprised me about the city.  - Mina

  1. I think living there I would have an anxiety attack everyday. Too packed! But it's beautiful the way the buildings all mish-mash together.
