While spending the afternoon at the High Line, we saw this guy with a sign that read: "Sit & Talk. Topic: Role Models"
New Yorkers, is this a thing?

  5. A friend visited NYC a few weeks ago and was trying to describe The High Line to me. Now I can match what she was saying to your photos. Thanks!

  6. Great shots...and we saw that creeper too! We finally realized that one was a decal. BUT--we saw some other things that were real, very real. ;)

Kinda like the sit & talk sign...is that a thing?? Wow.

I don't know if it's a thing, the sit and talk has never caught my eye before, but New York can be surprising. The creeper shocked me both times I passed "him"!

    I enjoy your beautiful blog!

  10. Hi, I've been to the HIgh Line three times and love it. Have done a couple of blogs about the High Line which would enhance this blog post because I give some of the history.

And Andi, that "creeper" in the window is a poster. Funny.

I also did a post on the Standarrd hotel that straddles the High Line and the Chelsea Market that is right near there. It's really a great part of NYC to hang out in.....and yes, when you try to describe it to people,it is really hard.

It is always on my list of "recommended" things to do in NYC.
