Despite the fact that 8.4 million New Yorkers suddenly realized that New York City is a horrible place to live, we would move there in a heartbeat if we wouldn't have to live like these folk.
We were pinching ourselves every single day during the month and a bit we spent there. Aside from a short layover, neither of us had ever visited the city. To get you hyped for our upcoming posts about the concrete jungle, here is Kermit singing Empire State of Mind:

ReplyDeleteYAY! Stoked for NYC posts. When Andre and I lived in Ottawa we were constantly driving to New York for weeks at a time just to hang out and and eat in the west village and the meat packing district. It quickly became a second home. I've really missed it since living here.
ReplyDeletehaha that video is so cute. Anyways, yea I love New York City too. There's always so much to do and so much to see. Let me know when you come visit next time.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait for your postings!! I just came back from NYC and enjoyed it. I m attached to the Southern ways but NYC is a wonderful experience!! Vacations (including some shopping) in NYC I say Yes, living there I don't think so.
ReplyDeleteEveryone should live in NYC 1 time in their life!!!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, I can't believe how small that apartment is! It's like a dorm room...which is OK for a temporary living space, but I'm not sure I could do that for any longer than 1 year. Eek!
ReplyDeletemy dream city, hands down. i would live there in .5 seconds. i'm pretty sure that city holds magic.
