greenmarket square

Located on a cobblestone road, between Short and Long Market Street, is Greenmarket Square. Apparently, this place used to be a trading spot for passing ships. It is now an excellent place to buy nick-knacks (after some bartering). The area is surrounded by several restaurants and cafes so that you can relax after a day of bargaining.

ReplyDeleteI have such good memories there... well apart from Mr B bargaining so so hard at every stall! I'm sure that one stall holder must not have even made a rand in profit after Mr B was done with him !!

I would have bought something from that crazy man just to reward him for balancing that much on his head.
