Before embarking on this "around-the-world" honeymoon, we were married in Los Angeles. It was an intimate event, just the two of us, and exactly what we had imagined. It was a gorgeous day and then we biked into the sunset. We had some pictures taken to remember the occasion.
I remember seeing this post back when it was first posted on Max's blog but I never put two and two together that it was you and your husband! They are VERY gorgeous photographs, and you are so blessed to have those purple sparkly shoes! ; P haha
beautiful! my husband and i got married the same way, just the two of us, and i wouldn't change a thing about it. i love big, fancy-schmancy weddings but they just weren't right for me.
You guys are the cutest, the photos are lovely and oh my gosh, I pretty much want your dress (and your bicycle). <3 If I looked half as gorgeous as you on MY future wedding day, I'd be happy, haha. You're so pretty!
Absolutely beautiful. I am so envious of you both, I dream of having a super small wedding like this with my bf but I feel like my family would get in the way and expect more. Do you mind me asking, where in LA this was? I Love this. Good for you both.
thanks for your sweet comment!! i just have to say how absolutely GORGEOUS these photos are!! the bikes.. your shoes!!!! your dress! ah everything is wonderful! and i adore the concept of your blog!! so excited to follow!!
Your wedding looks so incredibly special! What an intimate and lovely way to celebrate your day - the photos are stunning and I hate to sound like a broken record of the others, but the bike shots are just wonderful and set such a sweet mood :-)
These are very magazine-y, just like your engagement photos. I don't mean anything negative by that -- they just look like the kind of photos that would appear in a magazine ad or something.
Alex, was the hat a prop, or do you actually own it? Definitely a step up from the dead guy's hat from back in the G*A days.
Love them! What gorgeous pictures..and I really like that you decided to have an intimate ceremony. I mean that's what it's all about - you two. So fun!
so, yeah, i obviously didn't read this post all the way before i asked if it was just the two of you. silly me. i live in la and you actually made me feel as though it's romantic to get married here!
Such a perfect wedding. You guys are so much in love. How did your families let you get away with such an intimate ceremony! Mine would have gate crashed and waved us on on the honeymoon covered with confetti.
