We visited our alma mater to put up some posters. We decided to wander around one last time...
The tunnels came in handy during the winter. You basically don't have to go outdoors except when you're arriving or leaving for the day, which is convenient given that Winnipeg is known for it's -45 Celsius (-49 Fahrenheit) days.

You're right, what a gorgeous campus. I miss my campus too, even though I was dying to be done with it.
ReplyDeletewhat an amazing journey to go on-thanks for sharing it with us-best of luck!
ReplyDeleteI hope Rhiannon is not going to have to be a single mother, though she is able to leave very clear directions in a concise manner, so she will make a good parent I think.
ReplyDeleteGood luck Rhiannon, wherever you are.
I will have to show this blog to my husband. He will just be tickled by your past few posts - his mother works at UofM, he's spoken of garbage hill (yet I doubt he knows its true name), the history museum (and played on the ship!), assiniboine park, and all the (VERY) few places that you would take a non-manitobian if visiting (or marrying someone from... because why on earth would you visit?) Winnipeg! Love it!
ReplyDeleteWow, those are some COLD temperatures! I really am spoiled thinking that 30 degress F is cold...
ReplyDeleteI think you need to send that "I am the father" note to passiveaggressivenotes.com.
ReplyDeleteAlso, no shots of the radio station, which was repeatedly assaulted by Grandpa's Army?
That tunnel art is great! This post makes me miss my alma mater, too:)
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures! I'm jealous of the tunnel art. Pretty sure if I tried anything like that at my university the hidden cameras would lead to my arrest.
ReplyDeletewhoa! your school lookes like a castle!
