Hawaiian Pineapple Maze • 10 comments • According to a sign we saw, the pineapple maze in Oahu is the largest in the world (as recognized by the 2008 Guinness Book of World Records). Unfortunately, we don't have a great track history with mazes. Running though a pineapple maze sounds so whimsical and fun! In reality, this is the Dole Pineapple plantation* with a gift shop, and the maze was a swampy mud path that we gave up on. All was not lost: there was pineapple ice cream! I think it's almost impossible to have a bad time in Hawaii, though. I'm going to give the maze the benefit of doubt and assume it just rained, so, I'd still recommend it.
